Barlick Bear

Barlick Bear

Barlick Bear has been on his summer holidays with Mr. Browne and his family. Over the year the children in Year 2 will have the opportunity to take Barlick Bear home for the weekend and then tell the class what he has been up to. He has a special diary so the children can write about his adventures.

We love to see what he has been up to so please take photos. These can be stuck in his diary or emailed directly to Barlick Bear at

PE

We usually do PE on Tuesdays, but we would like PE kit in each day as we may
complete other PE activities during the week. Please note that our PE days mat change each half term.

KIRFs

At Gisburn Road we expect all children to try their best to learn their KIRFs. KIRFs or Key Instant Recall Facts are maths facts that children need to know in order to progress quickly in maths. Examples of KIRFs are knowing number facts or number bonds, halves and doubles and 2x, 5x and 10x tables.

Great ways to help your child practise maths
