In times of bad weather, there will be occasions where we need to close school or some year groups.

Decisions are based on whether the school site can be made safe enough and whether sufficient staff are able to travel to work from outside the area.

If the decision is made to close the school, you will be informed by text message and via Facebook by 8am in the morning. This allows senior staff and the site manager time to gather all the information and risk assess the situation.

Learning will revert online for any days we are closed.

If We Are Open and the Weather is Bad:-

• The site may be very icy and a path will have been cleared and gritted in line with our Winter Weather Policy.
• Please take great care and wear suitable footwear.
• If it is not possible to clear the site in time for opening, your class teacher will meet you at the gate to take your child in order to keep everyone safe.
