Swimming Lessons at West Craven Leisure Centre 2025-2026

Dear Parent / Carer,

This academic year, your child will be having swimming lessons! We are very excited about this and I’m sure the children will be too.
Swimming lessons are an important part of your child’s continuous learning throughout their school life. It is compulsory that your child participates in the swimming lessons in order to improve their confidence in the water and help give your child essential water safety survival skills. Swimming is also a statutory requirement of the National Curriculum, so your child will be expected to swim each week, unless it is for a valid reason.

Please see our swimming dates for this academic year.
