On Thursday 19th July there will be a leaving meal for Year 6 followed by their awards night.
We are nearly at the end of term and it is an extremely busy time for Year 6! Here are the important dates for your diary:
This year, we have been fortunate to have had the skills and expertise of a professional drama company ‘Just Imagine’ to help Year 6 with their end of Year production and it’s going to be great!
There will be an orienteering event taking place at Holt House on Wednesday 27th June 2018 for Year 5 and Year 6 children.
Due to an unexpected meeting being arranged at short notice, the Year 6 Weets walk has been re-arranged for Thursday 21st June.
As you are aware Year 6 are going on their annual residential trip to York in a few weeks time. They have been challenged to raise some money to contribute to the overall costs of the visit and have come up with some great ideas.
On Friday 22nd June there will be a non-uniform day to raise money for the Year 6 residential trip to York.
As part of your child’s continuous learning throughout their school life, swimming lessons will begin next week for Year 6 children at West Craven Leisure Centre.
This afternoon we had a very special visitor! Burnley FC in the Community brought along Burnley FC player Charlie Taylor for a Q & A session with Year 6 – trying to inspire them and motivate them before they begin their SATS. Charlie then stopped off to surprise Year 2 too for a few quick questions before having a picture taken. Thank you
