Year 6 had a PSHE taster session this afternoon off Burnley Football Club in the Community. BFC will now be in every Wednesday working with certain classes throughout the day. Today they worked on resilience and why it is important.
Over the past few weeks, children from Year 3 to Year 6 have been learning how to paint landscapes in our after school art club with Mrs. Baptie. The children have learnt how to plan a landscape drawing, and then develop this into a painting. We feel the results are absolutely stunning!
Our Year 6 Playground Leaders have had a food party this afternoon as a show of appreciation for their hard work at break and dinner times. Every day these children try keeping all the equipment safe and also ensure the younger children are kept active and busy by organising games!
Well it’s been freezing and wet…. but 12 children from Year 6 have had an amazing experience tonight. They took part in the Guard of Honour at Turf Moor and to make their night even more memorable… Burnley scored late on to win 1-0. ⚽️
