Year 6 really enjoyed Zoolab today. We learnt how and why the animals have adapted over time. We had SO much fun meeting Gary the giant African land snail, Millie the millipede, Rose the tarantula, Tango the snake and Ratty the rat 😃
Four of the Year 6 children enjoyed their Hockey Competition at Marsden Heights College. They learnt new Hockey skills before winning all 3 of their games… scoring 11 and conceding just 1 goal! Well done all of you! 🏑
Year 6 enjoyed their visit to meet children’s author Frank English. They asked some interesting questions, enjoyed his stories and have been inspired to write! 😃
12 of our Year 6 children have undergone some Playground Leaders training this morning with Fiona from the Pendle Sports Partnership. They are now all trained to run playground games/activities with the younger children in school. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves and learnt lots! ⚽️🎾🏀🏐
