Preschool are having a wonderful week learning about the lifecycle of frogs. In literacy we have been reading The Teeny Weeny Tadpole, we were excited to see him grow up to be a frog. We had lots of fun exploring in our pond tank with our (pretend) frogspawn!
In art we have continued thinking about Matisse and his use of colours, we used primary colours to mix colours for our snails! We have been learning how to safely cut up vegetables from our farm shop, we noticed that the inside of an onion were lots of circles which reminded us of a snail shell. We used the onions to make lovely rainbow snails. In phonics we have been talking about mouth shapes when making voice sounds, we have looked in the mirror to see how our faces change when we make different sounds.
