Year 1/2 All Stars Cricket Taster Afternoon with Ex International Cricketer – Joe Scuderi

All children from Year 1 and 2 had a fun and exciting afternoon on Wednesday with ex cricket professional Joe Scuderi. Joe used to play for Australia and Lancashire and also coached the Italian national side. The children learnt the key fundamental basics of cricket – looking at batting, bowling and fielding skills throughout the lesson before putting these skills into a game at the end. The children had a fantastic time and a big thank you to Joe for coming to Gisburn Road to work with our children – they all loved it!
