Robinwood Residential Trip – Year 5 Pupils
Dear Parents / Carers,
As you are aware, the Year 5 trip to Robinwood was originally booked for December 2020, however the lockdown restrictions meant that we needed to reschedule the booking for 5 May 2021. We were hopeful that life would have returned to normal by then!
In light of the announcement that residential trips will not be able to resume until the end of May, we will not be able to go ahead as planned on 5 May. However, Robinwood have offered some alternative dates and we have again been able to reschedule the trip.
The Robinwood residential trip will now take place on 27 September 2021 (Monday – Wednesday) at Dobroyd Castle, Todmorden. The cost will remain the same, as Robinwood have honoured the original price. As the children will be in Year 6 when the trip takes place, they will have a day trip to mark the end of their GRCPS time later in the year rather than another 3 day residential.
It is also a fantastic opportunity for some team building at the start of Year 6 with Mrs Toor.
We are confident that this time the trip will actually be able to take place!
