Music Lessons – Summer Term 2

Dear Parents / Carers,

We are very lucky to have Mr Andrew Gilmour (Giz) with us to teach guitar, ukulele and singing to junior children on Tuesday & Wednesday mornings in the Summer Term. This will commence, week beginning 7 June 2021. His music tuition has proved very popular so far this academic year!

Due to a bereavement and Mr Gilmour being unable to teach in the first few weeks of Summer Term 1, resulting in a few lessons missed, your child will have 6 lessons this half term, however you will only pay for 4.

Mr Gilmour would like to continue teaching the same children for guitar, ukulele and singing lessons this term to further develop their skills

All lessons will now be taught one-to-one due to the current situation and to keep everyone safe. The room will be spacious enough for social distancing to be possible and will be well ventilated.

The cost of tuition is £7.50 per one-to-one lesson, payable in advance via ParentPay – Summer Half Term 2 (6 lessons – only charged for 4) = £30 (1:1).

He will continue to teach at a safe distance away from the children and after each child has used one of the school guitars or ukuleles, it will be sanitised.

Can we politely ask that you do not send your child in with their own guitars or ukulele, these will be provided by school if you choose to consent to lessons.

If you are interested in your child continuing music lessons from 7 June 2021, please return the below form to school as soon as possible, with payment via ParentPay to be made by  Friday 21 May 2021.
