|We are very lucky to have Mr Andrew Gilmour (Giz) with us to teach guitar, ukulele and singing to junior children on Wednesday & Thursday mornings in the Spring Term. This will commence, week beginning 4 January 2021. His music tuition has proved very popular this last term!
As we have had a number of children isolating throughout the Autumn term, resulting in a few lessons missed, Mr Gilmour will be teaching 6 lessons in the first half of the Spring Term but you will only need to pay for 5.
Groups will be taught with children from the same class bubble and singing will be taught one-to-one. The room will be spacious enough for social distancing to be possible and will be well ventilated.
Mr Gilmour would like to continue teaching the same children for guitar, ukulele and singing lessons this term to further develop their skills
The cost of tuition will be £5 per group lesson or £7.50 per one-to-one lesson, payable in advance via ParentPay – Spring Half Term 1 (5 lessons) = £25 (group) / £37.50 (1:1).
He will continue to teach at a safe distance away from the children and after each child has used one of the school guitars or ukuleles, it will be sanitised.
Mr Gilmour will teach wearing a mask and the children will be seated either side by side or back to back and only from the same class bubble.
Can we politely ask that you do not send your child in with their own guitars or ukulele, these will be provided by school if you choose to consent to lessons.
