Letter to Reception Parents

Dear Parent / Carer,

As you are nearing the end of your child’s first term at Gisburn Road Community Primary School, I wanted to thank you all for your support.

You have had a very different start to your child’s school journey during the pandemic. Not one we would have wanted.

We love to bring parents into school to join in with the learning, have lunch with your child, drop them off in the classroom and much more!

I know many of you have asked about the school photographs – this has had to be cancelled due to the Tier 3 measures in Pendle and the further lockdown. We are following the Local Authorities Guidance and the Risk Assessment that they have set out. For now, it is postponed until the Summer Term and Mrs Heaton has plans of her own to do something special.

The good news is we will be having a nativity performance – not as long as usual and it will be outdoors (so wrap up warm).
Two performances will be held on Wednesday 2nd December 2020 at 2pm and 4pm, and will be following Covid procedures. Tickets will go on sale nearer the time and numbers will be limited on each performance.

We have an open door policy, so if there is anything that you are wondering about, please give us a ring – either speak to myself, Mrs Heaton, Mrs Toor or you can send us a quick message on Facebook.
(Please ring school if it something urgent on 01282812287)

Ways you can keep up to date with what is happening in school:-

Thank you for your continued support,

NWalker.
