What reaction do we get if we mix vinegar and bicarbonate powder? Can we use this to inflate a balloon? Year 5 had fun trying to find out! We made a bit of a mess too.🙈
Well done to our Year 5/6 Athletics team. These 12 children did fantastic throughout their running, throwing and jumping events to help us achieve the Runners Up out of the schools that entered this morning. Well done all of you!
We had such a lovely afternoon decorating the Christmas Tree, singing Christmas songs and listening to Year 5 telling retelling the Christmas story. 🎄⭐️
So today Year 5 travelled all the way to Thailand. What a delicious green curry they made and they all ate up their vegetables! Where to next week???🍡🍚🍲
These 8 children from Year 5/6 really enjoyed themselves learning how to play Dodgeball tonight at Fisher More. The children played lots of games – learning how to duck, dodge, throw and catch all at the same time! 🏀👐🏻
All these children from Year 5/6 have enjoyed their Bike Ability good this week. They have learnt lots to keep them safe on the road and are now more confident when riding their bikes. You did wheelie good! 🚲
Empty bowls, clean spoons and tickled taste buds. Our first year 5 group did an AMAZING job making a Spanish tapas dish ‘ Patatas Bravas’ today. Ask your child for the ingredients. Any suggestions of which country or what dish to make next would be very welcome! We love to try new things. 🍝🍜🍲
Year 5 had a fab morning at Tesco. We baked bread, found out how food got to the supermarket, looked at how the food is stored and even went in the very cold freezer. We tasted some yummy cheese, met some funny looking fish and finished with fruit pizza! Hope you all enjoyed your bread for tea.🍞🍞
Oh dear, Mrs Whittaker’s shopping bags all broke. Year 5 to the rescue! They thought of some excellent ways to separate all the different materials in our science lesson.
Well done Year 5 who shared their recent learning about Barnoldswick this afternoon.
