The Year 3/4 Football team enjoyed their first ever match tonight. Despite horrendous conditions, the boys showed a lot of determination against a very, very strong Sacred Heart team. Well done boys!

Year 3 had a fantastic morning creating rotational patterns.
Year 3 have had a magical maths morning! We did outside maths, measuring the MUGA and testing our speeds. We surveyed the cars going past our school! Then we headed inside for transformation magic. We turned four puzzle pieces into a T (Oliver found the solution in less than a minute), turned two circles into a square, and then made a template by
A Roman soldier stopped by to visit year 3 today. He taught us a lot about Roman life, including how to fight!
All the children enjoyed some fantastic learning on Friday with Dave Godfrey, kicking off our maths week at Gisburn Road.

Our plants are growing well in year 3.
Year 3 had a fantastic time at Gazegill Organic Farm. We made our own organic ice cream, found out all about the animals, visited the polytunnels to learn how plants are grown, and even learnt a little sign language! What a great trip!
