Year 6 Match Day Experience

3 December 2019

Match Day Experience – Burnley FC vs Manchester City @ Turf Moor

12 children from Year 6 had a simply amazing experience on Tuesday evening at Turf Moor in the Premier League fixture between Burnley FC and current Premier League champions – Manchester City. All 12 children were the pre-match mascots taking part in the ‘Guard of Honour’ which meant they all stood on the pitch at Turf Moor next to the players tunnel and welcomed all the players from both teams on to the pitch by applauding them all on as they all walked passed. The children got to see all the famous players up close and even got a high five from Burnley manager – Sean Dyche. This experience should be one the children should cherish for many years to come and their behaviour throughout the evening was a credit to the school. Also, a big thank you to Burnley FC in the Community who organized this event for us. We all had a fantastic and memorable night!
