Based on the Prime Minister’s announcement this evening, please heed his instructions.
STAY AT HOME.
KEEP YOUR CHILDREN AT HOME.
KEEP US ALL SAFE.
Please consider VERY carefully whether your children need to come to school tomorrow.
The safest place for them to be is at home.
Thank you to all parents who have already made alternative arrangements for their children.
We will keep open for the children of Key Workers who don’t have any other option.
These parents will, I know, be very grateful to parents who keep their children at home so as to limit the risk to their own households as well as to the households of those Key Workers. We need our essential workers to keep well enough to do the very important job that they are doing – do your bit for them.
