A GOOD School

Our primary school and preschool is a community in which we are all valued equally as individuals. We treat each other and everyone in our community with respect: valuing trust and honesty in all we do.

We strive constantly for our children to enjoy school and become life long learners. Our curriculum promotes active learning that engages all children, promotes a healthy lifestyle and encourages enterprise. As a school community we value commitment.

At Gisburn Road, located at the very heart of Barnoldswick, we prepare our children to have the confidence and skills to thrive.

In our last Ofsted inspection we were graded 'good'.

  • Encore Dance - KS1 After School Club

    25 April 2024  3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

    Dear Parent/Carer,

Would your child like to join the Encore Dance School sessions that they are running within school? These dance sessions are for a 4 week block in the Summer Term. There are enough spaces for 20 children from Year 1 and Year 2. There is no charge for the club. If the course is oversubscribed then we may have to ‘draw the names from a hat’. Your child can join more than one club if they wish to do so, as long as the clubs fall on different evenings.

It is essential that we are informed if your child is not attending the club.

Please note: If a child misses 2 sessions without good reason then they will lose their place at the club.

The club takes place each week on THURSDAY

This activity takes place in the INFANT HALL

It starts at 3:30pm and finishes at 4:15pm

Please note:- The Club commences on Thursday 25 April 2024 – Thursday 16 May 2024 (4 weeks)

THERE ARE NO CLUBS DURING THE HALF TERM HOLIDAYS
